Our Activities During the Pandemic
Lending a helping hand to theater workers in need
In early March 2020 we worked with Samstab, an organization based in Kolkata, India, to raise funds for theater workers in Kolkata who are on a daily wage basis and are facing significant economic hardship. We continued this effort and in October organized Pujor Taane Natok, a two-day theater festival the proceeds from which were donated to benefit theater workers. We donated INR 11.5 lacs to Samstab through this event.
A huge shout-out to the entire team of Ebong Theatrix Maryland for providing your kind support through your valuable contribution for the daily wage theater workers in this part of the world, We express our gratitude and hope this mellifluous relation continues forever. Thanks again for contributing in these tough times, stay safe all the stellar members, stay healthy!
