Over the last couple of years, the pandemic has relentlessly targeted our communities with tragedies, isolation, and hardships in every conceivable manner.  Yet, through the sufferings, we realized anew that the differences that we so often highlight are of little value when faced with tumultuous events like this.  Now, as we take tentative steps towards a post-pandemic normalcy, it is even more important we remember these lessons of unity. 

 

We, a theater group in Washington DC, believe that understanding and appreciating diverse perspectives, cultures, and values are important contributing factors to strengthen the bond that unites us. With the goal of promoting and celebrating heterogeneity amongst us, we are thrilled to announce the launch of DiversET, a virtual theater and performing arts festival to be held on December 18th and 19th, 2021.
